The Operations Manager is responsible for lottery operations at sites within Latin America.

Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and recommend objectives to maximize sales and profitability of the lottery operation
  • Define and recommend objectives in each area of operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness including cost containment.
  • Promptly responds to customer and management requests.
  • Oversee the development of internal policies/procedures for improving acceptance of lottery products by retailers and consumers; collaborate with the management team and vendors in the selection, design, performance analysis, and review of lottery games, advertising, and support systems.
  • Responsible for preparation of annual budgets and forecasts and reporting on results against the established plans to the board of directors.
  • Responsible for operational readiness, disaster recovery, procurement, and enforcement of all contracts.
  • Supervise, interview, hire and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees, address complaints and resolve problems, and represent management at labour union grievance hearings.
  • Perform strategic marketing planning, policy development, and implementation.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and sales programs.
  • Plan, schedule, and stage quarterly regional and headquarters meetings.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university.
  • Preference to experience in the lottery gaming industry or other consumer marketing businesses.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to relocate.

  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of supervision.
  • Knowledge of the lottery industry.
  • Knowledge of marketing goals/strategies.
  • Ability to develop/implement strategic plans.
  • Knowledge of financial management principles.
  • Displays high standards of ethical conduct. Exhibits honesty and integrity.
  • Displays a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently. Works with minimal supervision. Demonstrates responsible behaviour and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills.
