Lottery Division
Location:   Ottawa
Reports to:   Quality Assurance Manager
General objective
Perform system-level verification and validation of Lottery Division products and applications.
Responsibilities
  • Develop test plans and procedures and execute test cases.
  • Write test scripts.
  • Troubleshoot and reproduce/resolve problems.
  • Perform test automation.
  • Maintain system documentation.
  • Identify, log, and track issues being tested in the system.
    • Qualifications
    • College diploma with experience in system testing.
    • Experience in Linux.
    • Experience in programming and with scripting languages (PHP, Java, sql are assets)
    • Experience with automated test tools.
    • Good analytical and documentation skills.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Understand the importance of following schedules and meeting deadlines.
    • Possess a genuine interest in testing, career progression, and improving personal QA knowledge.
    • Perform well under pressure.
    • Detail-oriented approach.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Creative problem solving skills.
    • Ability to obtain or already have Secret level Security Clearance (level 2).
