Our Corporate Information Services, Software Development Department, has an opening for a Junior software tester. You will be a part of a team that has successfully designed, developed and deployed a number of applications around the globe.
As a member of our team you will be playing a vital role in verifying and validating the functionality of our applications. These can range from Web Based services developed in Ruby on Rails and PHP to more traditional Java/C++ client-server applications.

As a member of our team you will be playing a vital role in verifying and validating the functionality of our applications. These can range from Web Based services developed in Ruby on Rails and PHP to more traditional Java/C++ client-server applications.

- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of Spanish or French will be considered an asset).
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in software test planning and software quality assurance.
- Experience or knowledge in Windows or Linux.
- Familiar with PHP, Ruby on Rails, Smarty or Django.
- Familiar with C++, MFC, WxWidgets, and Boost.
- Familiar with Java.
- Knowledge or experience in Oracle, MySQL or Postgres is considered an asset.
- Good analytical and high quality documentation skills.
- Possess a genuine interest in testing, career progression and improving personal QA knowledge.
- Strong understanding of deadlines and commitment to schedules.
- Solid performance under pressure.
- Ability to obtain Canadian Government Secret level security clearance.
