Reports To:   Testing Team Leader - SW Development, Identification Systems Division

Location:   Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

General Objective:

To perform software testing and validation of Identification Systems Division products and applications.

Responsibilities:

Develop test plans and procedures

Write test scripts

Execute test cases

Troubleshoot, trying to resolve/reproduce problems

Test automation

Maintain test documentation

Identify, log and track issues in the system under test

Install and configure system components (hardware, system software)

Qualifications:

University degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or related field

2+ years of experience in software test planning and software quality assurance

Experience or knowledge of Windows and Linux

Good analytical and high quality documentation skills

Strong communication skills in English (other languages are additional assets)

Knowledge or experience in RDBMS will be an asset

Possess a genuine interest in testing, career progression and improving personal QA knowledge

Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers

Self motivated and action oriented team player

Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities

Eligible to obtain Secret Security Clearance
